THIS ACTION IS RESERVED FOR DESIGN-BUILD (DB)/DESIGN-BID-BUILD (DBB), INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC) (CONTRACT NUMBERS N4008521D0052, N4008521D0053, N4008521D0054, N4008521D0055, N4008521D0056, N4008521D0057, N4008521D0066) FOR FACILITIES IN THE NORTH AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) TO INCLUDE CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, MAINE, MASSACHUSETTS, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, AND VERMONT N4008521D0052 - Benaka Inc. The Work consists of the complete demolition and removal of a single concrete framed two-story structure of approximately 17,800 total gross Sq.

Ft. and all as-found interior structural / mechanical / electrical appurtenances. The structure is defined as a Building Shell, having undergone both NAVFAC decommissioning in 2008 and currently holds select HAZMAT certifications. However, as found, hazardous material testing and remediation is required prior to demolition. The Contractor is to perform ACM testing as a Contractor's cost and dispose per regulations prior to demolition work.

Historically, the structure was constructed in 1913 as a storage facility (concrete and multi-wythe exterior wall construction). Existing Level 1 finish floor is elevated above grade approximately 3 Ft. 6 In. above mean grade. The structure did receive entry/egress improvements in 1981 (Stair tower and vestibule entries). Complete demolition is to include the following and incidental related work. This list is not a comprehensive summary of all demolition responsibilities of the contractor.
