## Description

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) FEAD Camp Butler intends to solicit proposals for Northern and Southern Camps Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Services at MCB Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa Japan. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, provision of all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, equipment, transportation, incidental engineering and other items required to perform grounds maintenance services at the various locations of the U.S. Marine Corp Base Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan to include but not limited to the following locations.

**Northern Camps:** Camp Schwab, Henoko Station, Camp Courtney, Camp Hansen, Camp Gonsalves/ Northern Training Area (NTA), Camp McTureous, Ammunitions Supply Point (ASP) #2, Central Training Area (CTA) and Taiyo Roads and Parking Areas.

**Southern Camps:** Camp Kinser, MCAS Futenma, Camp Foster, Camp Lester and Plaza Housing Area and Fort Buckner. The resulting contract will be a single-award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type performance-based service contract comprised of Recurring and Non-Recurring work requirements. The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period and seven (7) one-year option periods. The total period of performance is for eight (8) years.

Option periods are for the continuation of services as stated above and are not guaranteed. Exercise of options are subject to determination that it is in the best interest of the Government. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Contractors must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract.

Bidders will be required to provide verification on required license prior to award of any contract to the contracting officer if such information is not already on file with or available to the contracting officer. Contractors must be registered to do business in Japan and possess all valid permits and licenses as required by the contract.
