## Description

This is design-bid-build construction contract to provide construction of a new hydrant fueling system that will be provided with eight (8) new hydrant pits, three (3) new hydrant loop laterals, three (3) isolation valve pits across three (3) existing aircraft parking rows, removal and replacement of airfield and typical road section pavement, and various upgrades to the existing hydrant system and commissioning.

The scope also includes new piping that will tie into the existing 2,400 GPM Type III Hydrant Refueling System currently in use at Building 5023. New single-walled stainless steel issue/return piping will connect to the existing single-wall stainless steel issue/return piping on the existing hydrant system. Lastly, the scope includes installing hydrant pits on the aircraft parking apron and boring under Taxiway Whiskey for the issue/return loop piping installation.
