## Description

Per FAR 5.201(b)(1)(ii) the contracting officer must transmit a notice to the GPE for each proposed contract modification to an existing contract for additional supplies or servicers that meets the posting threshold in 5.101(a)(1). The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Contracting Office is executing a bilateral contract modification to Contract N3904024P0179 which was awarded on July 31, 2024 to IBCONTROLS for Complex Control System Maintenance at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth NH.

The purpose of this modification is to add additional work that is within scope and the original intent of the base contract for remedial maintenance. This contract action is supported by the attached Sole Source Justification. The nature of the services are not changed with this contract modification.
