The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a sole-source contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement due to the proprietary software developed by C.R. Onsrud Inc. This contract is intended to be awarded to C.R. Onsrud Inc. for on-site preventive maintenance and any additional support and evaluation for the Onsrud Axis Machine. The requirements document in the form of “Performance Work Statement” is attached to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Any party who believes they can perform this requirement should submit a tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability for consideration by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. A party may identify their interest and submit a capability statement by 1400 on 08 Sept 2025 HST.
