This include the purchase of Flexible Confined Detonating Cord Assemblies (FCDCAs), FCDCA adaptors, and Exploding-Bridgewire Electric Detonators (EEDs). The estimated period of performance is 360 days ADC. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Additionally, this contract action will be awarded as an order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA N0017426G1004) between the Government and Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense. Purpose of this Notice: These BOA Orders are being pursued on a sole source basis under authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as is implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is the only known, qualified responsible source that has the ability and resources necessary to fulfill the requirements herein.
