This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, “only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” The AN/ARC-210(V) electronic protection (EP) radio systems and associated support equipment have been determined to be commercial products and Collins Aerospace will not provide or sell the technical data necessary to procure the items competitively or provide support for these products. Therefore, RCI is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
