## Description

Solicitation N00421-25-Q-0114 issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, on a sole source requirement to Mettler Toledo LLC, 1900 Polaris Parkway, Columbus, OH 43240, Cage Code 12021. Specifically, this procurement is for a Mass Comparator, Standard Weights, and ancillary item(s) utilized at the Navy Primary Standard Lab (NPSL).

A robotic mass comparator is used to automate weight calibration workflow as well as for high- throughput weight calibration applications. Automating the time and labor-intensive weight calibration process releases operators to focus on other tasks. Continuous 24-hour operation further increases efficiency and productivity. Mettler-Toledo LLC is the original equipment manufacturer. The Mettler system interfaces with previously procured and installed Mettler systems.

Software and hardware histocompatibility is crucial for this acquisition as the engineering and software development to make a different system compatible with existing hardware and software would be sizable. AX1005, AX106 and XPR6U Mass Comparator, are used at the Navy Primary Standards Laboratory in North Island, San Diego California and Marine Corps Calibration Laboratory. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition.
