\n\nThis requirement is solicited on a Brand Name basis for Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC Rubber Expansion Joints due to the following:
\n\nGarlock EZ-FLO® Style 206 Expansion Joints are required because they possess specific design and performance characteristics necessary to meet the Government’s operational requirements. The required product incorporates a single wide flowing arch that eliminates the need for filled arches in slurry-service applications. Its self-flushing configuration is required to minimize media accumulation within the joint and reduce fluid turbulence, thereby supporting reliable system flow and reducing the likelihood of premature degradation or maintenance-related downtime.
