## Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC), Yokosuka, intends to issue a firm-fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to Timken Gears & Services Inc., DBA Philadelphia Gear.

The requirement is for an OEM-certified field service representative to provide on-site support for the replacement of the Main Reduction Gear (MRG) Second Reduction Gear Pinion Bearing, in accordance with the Statement of Work and NAVSEA Standard Item 009-90. This acquisition will be conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 13, and a Justification and Approval (J&A) has been prepared in accordance with FAR 13.501(a).
