The DXP Model 47 is custom-engineered to meet the specific restricted weight, footprint, and low-magnetic signature requirements of the LCS-2 variant platform main propulsion systems. The proposed contract action is for a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR Part 12 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation nor RFQ will be forthcoming. Responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice by July 27, 2026, 0800 a.m. PST via e-mail to yesica.l.burrill.civ@us.navy.mil which shall be considered by the agency.
