ARJIS is the only service provider of this nature covering San Diego County and required by Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar (NCBM) to provide standard law enforcement practices to conduct background check on all inmates, visitors, contractors and new staff members who may have contact with inmates shall be conducted on all inmates, visitors, contractors and new staff members who may have contact with inmates. NCBM has a valid need for access to criminal histories using the Interstate Identification Index (III), Wants and Warrants and similar databases. This requirement is to ensure background information is properly attained for accurate classification as required by SECNAV M-1640.1. The anticipated award date of this action is on or before 15 September 2025. The applicable NAICS code is 334112. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the licenses and proof as being an authorized distributor of the product. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government.
