## Description

This is a sole source requirement for NPS ECE department to create 5G NR research networks to test the robustness of 5G networks in military scenarios. NPS requires Valid8 M5 hardware and proprietary 5G NR gNodeB, core network, and UE emulation software will allow NPS instructors to demonstrate to students how a 5G NR network operates.

Additionally, Valid8 provides the ability to craft user defined packets it will allow students and researchers to test for vulnerabilities in commercial UEs and gNodeB/core network components. procurement of Valid8 M5 Hardware with UE Emulator (64 UEs) and Base UE Tester software (m5-ue-emulator-064-base-ue-tester) with 1-year product support (sr-support-silver) and remote configuration & setup (sr-configuration-setupremote-day).
