## Description

This action is for the award of a sole source firm-fixed priced contract to Jeppesen/Boeing Digital Solutions 55 Inverness DR E, Englewood CO 80112-5412 cage 19580 utilizing the statutory authority permitting this sole source action is 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures - a sole source acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures for the acquisition of commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501 (a).

This is a sole source action to support continued use of Jeppesen software licenses for use in the E-6B aircraft Flight Management Computer (FMC) System on behalf of Naval Air Force U.S. Pacific Fleet. Navigation Data (NavData) JEP 5 Worldwide Database and Fleet License fee is required to support 16 Flight Management Computer (FMC) Single Board modified E-6B aircraft.

The licenses allow digital access to NavData JEP 5 which is also collaboratively used with the Jeppesen/Boeing Digital Solutions ForeFlight application. The licenses allow the most current data such as aeronautical charts, airport diagrams, departure plates, etc. to be delivered to pilots via their respective FMCs.

To ensure compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICOA) standards governing navigational data, the requested software licenses gives flight crews the capability to download updated data every 28 days. This action will provide a base year and four (4) one-year option periods, beginning 05/01/2025 and ending 04/30/2030.
