The licenses allow digital access to NavData JEP 5 which is also collaboratively used with the Jeppesen/Boeing Digital Solutions ForeFlight application. The licenses allow the most current data such as aeronautical charts, airport diagrams, departure plates, etc. to be delivered to pilots via their respective FMCs. To ensure compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICOA) standards governing navigational data, the requested software licenses gives flight crews the capability to download updated data every 28 days.
