## Description

Because the Naval District Washington FES will be using their own certified Maryland Emergency Services instructors and training facilities. The Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI) recognizes Naval District Washington FES instructors to deliver these training programs at their facility. This is a sole source award to the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute through the University of Maryland, College Park. Please see the attached J and A for further analysis.

All Classes and training meet the requirement OPNAVINST 11320.23G, DoD 6055.06-M, DoD Fire and Emergency Services Certification Program. MFRI will provide commercial textbooks, MFRI printed class materials, proctoring of written and practical exams, and certifications for the United States Navy Reservist Fire Academy.
