Brainerd Chemical Company is currently the only supplier of this chemical that holds an active DOT Special Permit for CONUS transportation of this material by Motor Vehicle This action is to be undertaken in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a) on the basis that only one source is available in meeting the government’s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 332439. The Product Service Code (PSC) code is 8145. The resulting award will be a firm fixed price purchase order.
