## Description

This Sources Sought has been extended to 20 May 2025. This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government.

The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this source sought. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this sources sought. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking potential sources to provide a flat washer.

The washer will work in conjunction with a lock screw on a small adjustable spanner wrench. This requirement is for materials only and no service(s) will be required. At a minimum the flat washer will meet the following specifications and guidance.

**INTERPRET DRAWING IAW:** MIL-STD-31000 ASME Y14.100 ENGINEERING DRAWING PRACTICES ASME Y14.5 DIMENSIONS AND TOLERANCES ASME Y14.38 ABBREVIATIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED: FINISH ALL OVER 125 REMOVE ALL BURRS AND BREAK SHARP EDGES .020 MAX. IDENTIFY AS 10001-2847260 AND THE APPLICABLE REVISION LETTER. DO NOT MARK ON PIECE. WASHER SHALL COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF MIL-DTL-19595D. (CONTACT) PASSIVATE AS PER EITHER ASTM A967 OR SAE AMS-2700.

**MATERIAL:** CRES, SAE AMS-QQ-S-763, CLASS 310, CONDITION A EXPLANATION AMS-QQ-S-763: A federal specification for stainless steel bars, wire, shapes, and forgings Grade 310: A medium carbon austenitic stainless steel Condition A: A specification for the material of the bar Cross Sectional Shape:

**Testing IAW MIL-DTL-19595D Material:** Steel comp 310 Material Specification: Qq-s-763 federal specification single material response Submissions: Interested entities are encouraged to respond by providing succinct responses to the items listed above. A spreadsheet can be used to organize the responses if desired.

In addition, the submission shall include the organization’s name, postal address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, related webpage(s) URL, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. If a formal solicitation is generated later, a solicitation notice will be published.
