## Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. NSWC, IHEODTD Indian Head, intends to award a contract on a noncompetitive basis to SYDOR INSTRUMENTS, LLC 78 Schuyler Baldwin DR Fairport, New York 14450 For the following:

ROSS Streak Camera Maintenance Sydor Instruments has manufactured the contract subject camera. The company has required expertise (in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment, tools, and qualified staff) to perform routine and emergency services on this specialized equipment. The ROSS streak camera is proprietary technology of Sydor Instruments, LLC. The company is the only qualified vendor that can perform the preventive and emergency service on this advanced instrument.

This action is be undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) Soliciting from a single source, on the basis that the vendor is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334415. The small business size determination is 30 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotes.

Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 11:00 am. EST on 02-FEB-2024. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

Interested parties shall e-mail all statements, quotes, and capabilities to Sharon Cooper, via email: Sharon.cooper@navy.mil and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide these services.
