Willis Road, Chandler, AZ 85226-5111, to provide/conduct: Ordnance Assessment (OA) testing of the STANDARD Missile-6 (SM-6) Block (Blk) I MK 72 Gas Generator Squib Navy Part Number (P/N) 6520656. Testing will occur at Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PSEMC) in Chandler, Arizona. Testing will include non-destructive, environmental, and ballistic testing of twelve (12) Government Furnished fleet-returned units provided by Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD). An additional two (2) test setup units shall be supplied by NSWC IHD. The Gas Generator Squib, P/N 6520656, was originally manufactured by Special Devices Incorporated (SDI) and later manufactured by PSEMC-Chandler Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company(PacSciEMC-Chandler, /test no to exceed 34 weeks after contract date This action is be undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) Soliciting from a single source, on the basis that the vendor is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541380. The FSC code is H210. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotes.
