The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a Sole Source to Microway, Inc. for the purchase of a 10-node computer cluster. This system will be compatible with other computer nodes manufactured by Microway that already exist at NRL. To ensure compatibility and itegration of these existing nodes with the new 10-nodes, the new cluster must be installed with Microway’s proprietary cluster management tool. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334111 with size standard of up to 1250 employees, Small The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) procurement is 7G21. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.
