This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and email requests will not be honored. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to: Applied Energy Systems To furnish: Purchase and installation of a two cylinder gas cabinet for the storage and distribution of Phosphine gas (0.1% PH3, Balance Hydrogen) to a Chemical Vapor Deposition tool to be used for doping diamond with phosphorous. Applied Energy Systems (AES) is the only company we are aware of that provides ultra high purity (UHP) gas delivery systems that are compliant with the SEMI S2 standards for Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines for Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment. Technical evaluation of the market finds high confidence in the capability of AES to perform at the required level. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 with the size standard of 1000. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) procurement is 6695. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement in accordance with the posted opening and closing dates.
