## Description

The purpose of this updated announcement is to attach Amendment 0003 of the solicitation. Questions received prior to 10:00 AM EDT on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 will be answered by amendment to the solicitation. The purpose of Amendment 0003 is to:

(1) remove the small business set-aside and (2) extend the solicitation due date to 10:00 EDT on Friday, 3 October 2025

The purpose of this updated announcement is to attach Amendment 0002 of the solicitation. The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to:

(1) answer questions from industry and (2) extend the solicitation due date to 10:00 EDT on Thursday, 25 September 2025

The purpose of this updated announcement is to attach Amendment 0001 of the solicitation. The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to extend the solicitation due date deadline to 10:00 EDT on Monday, 22 September 2025

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to solicit for one (1) Cast Wedge Test Article as detailed in the attached solicitation.
