## Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE. The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit a navy occupational dosimetry system (NODS) that is capable of meeting the Navy's Physical, Radiological, and Environmental requirements. The NODS shall consist of the Navy’s next generation dosimetry system and an updated radiation health and database management software system called the Navy Radiation Exposure Management System (NAVREMS).

The Government anticipates soliciting this requirement as full-and-open competition. The contract will be awarded as a hybrid single award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), with the hardware components being procured on a firm fixed price (FFP) basis and the software development portion being procured on a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) basis. Other direct costs associated with the requirement will be handled on a cost-only basis.

The contemplated contract will be for a period of five years to include five one-year ordering periods. The total estimated level of effort is 342,000 hours. It is currently anticipated that the solicitation will be available by the first quarter of the Government fiscal year 2025. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apparent successful offerors must have an Approved Cost Accounting System; a current VETS 4212 report on file with the Department of Labor; and be registered in SAM. This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY.

This is not a request for propsal/pricing at this time. Responses to this notice will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this pre-solicitation notice. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Any information received will be considered confidential and will not be disseminated to the public.
