OVERVIEW The primary objective of the SLCM-N prototype project is to develop solutions that provide a cruise missile design and demonstration of a credible weapon system to deliver a nuclear payload to a target within a contested environment. Desired end-state and success criteria for the SLCM-N prototype project include implementation of Model Based System Engineering and design, enforce design for producibility, develop tailored systems engineering processes for model based, systems engineering review, implement modular sub-system and component demonstrations to reduce risks to integrates system testing, quickly perform developmental flight testing, and perform enhanced ground testing to support accelerated acquisition decision and platform integration milestones. 3 CONSORTIUM MEMBERSHIP Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of the S2MARTS consortium.
