The trailers will consist of 53 ft long flatbed trailer, Environmental Cooling Unit and a tarp system. The tarp system will include a black tarp with trolley system and a light gray tarp with trolley system. The black tarp will be for winter months and the light gray will be for summer months. The proposed contract action is for modified commercial trailers for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Wartech Engineering LLC, 6775 Brand Street, Romulus, MI 48174-3507 (CAGE 5M9K0) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented at FAR 6.3021(a)(2)(ii),Only Wartech possess necessary “Level 3” Product level technical data package. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://sam.gov.
