Services to be provided include but are not limited to: On-Site Representatives (OSR), Industrial Planners & Operational Testing Support, Logistics & Material Support, AITs, Installation Support Technicians, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and Engineering and Electronics Technicians to support modernization, installation and fleet support efforts. Facilities shall be provided and maintained at Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA in support of these requirements. Place of performance and Government on-site/off-site support requirements are estimated as follows: NSWC Crane Division (15%) Temporary Duty (TDY) travel locations (inclusive of performance at shipyard or other Government sites) (55%) Contractor’s Facility, within 30 miles of Naval Station Norfolk, VA (15%) Contractor’s Facility, within 30 miles of Naval Station San Diego, CA (15%) The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as a total small business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 19.5. The Government intends to award a cost reimbursement type contract to the responsible contractor whose offer represents the best value to the Government considering technical, past performance, and price/cost related factors.
