The proposed modification is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Vista Outdoor Sales, LLC. 1 Vista Way, Anoka MN 55303 under the authority of FAR 6.302. The requirement is being announced on a sole source basis as the contract was awarded as such. Currently Vista Outdoor Sales, LLC. is the only approved source for the required ammunition and can provide timely. A current competitive action for this ammunition will be solicited very soon allowing competition covering requirements beyond this effort. N0016423DS007 was awarded on the same basis of continuing requirements via the only current approved source while the competitive action takes place. There is no extension to the contract period ending 14 August 2025 just the increase in ceiling. This increase in ceiling is due to an increase in requirements via new customers and this increase will satisfy those requirements until the end of the ordering period at which time a new competitive contract is expected to award.
