## Description

Mild detonating cord (MDC) assemblies contain an explosive charge which severs the aircraft forward and aft cast acrylic canopies from their canopy frames when activated by the ejection sequence or manually by the internal JAU-32/A Mechanical Actuated Initiator handle.
