By utilizing improper molded Hydrophone Stave Assemblies material, it could reduce the submarine’s acoustic signature, making it more detectable by sonar systems. Ineffective material may not absorb or scatter sound waves effectively, allowing more sound to reflect off the submarine’s hull.
