## Description

Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to contract with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc. (BAE Systems) of Rockville, MD.

The Government requires the Contractor to provide technical engineering services for integrated facilities acquisition and engineering support of Strategic Systems Programs’ Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS), Strategic Weapons System (SWS), COLUMBIA/United Kingdom (UK) Successor, Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS), Nuclear Sea Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N), Nuclear Defense Enterprise Review (NDER), and Field Activity Sustainment Support System programs.

BAE Systems will provide technical support services for integrated facilities, environmental, and explosives safety engineering. Only BAE systems possesses the requisite detailed understanding of the coordinated interfaces between the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) system and the SSP specific shore-based facilities, and associated complexities and intricacies, to which these engineering efforts apply.

Further, BAE is the only source with the requisite proficiency and experience with the numerous on-going SLBM specific FA&E projects in process that must be supported by these efforts. The period of performance will be from 01 Oct 2026 to 30 September 2027, with four one-year options with a total period of performance from 01 Oct 2026 to 30 September 2031. It will also include provisions that would allow for level of effort increases up to 30%.

Award will be made using other than full and open competition to BAE Systems of Rockville, MD. No Solicitation package is available. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.103.

While all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
