The EOSS MK 20 MOD 1 consists of an above deck, self-stabilized pedestal (elevation over azimuth orientation) mounting, an electro-optical sensor suite, and below deck equipment enclosures hosting associated equipment. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. L3Harris is the only existing source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK 20 EOSS to satisfy the Government’s production requirements within the required schedule.
