## Description

This notice serves to document the award announcement via SAM.gov that on 20 February 2026, Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Manassas, Virginia, was awarded a $78,429,802 cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-only contract (N00024-26-C-5203) for engineering and program management services in support of the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System (USWCS).

This action provides for the development, qualification, and integration required to maintain fielded baselines and certify future upgrades. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $479,933,956. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (82%), the government of Japan (13%), and the government of Australia (5%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.

Work will be performed in various locations to be determined and is expected to be completed by February 2027. If all options are exercised, work will continue through February 2031. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as only one responsible source could satisfy agency requirements. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. Attached is the redacted J&A.
