The contemplated action is a continuation of the previous contract with DRS Naval Power Systems, Inc. (N00024-14-C-4200) which funded the design, development, software, and hardware procurement of the AMDR PCM. The contemplated action is comprised of the following efforts: Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Units Support for Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) and Land Based Test Site (LBTS) Obsolescence Support Program Office Support, including Program Management and Documentation Updates Ship Support, including Testing and Trials Support Emergent / Unforeseen Issue Support The contemplated contract will include Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) line items for specific post-warranty hardware, software, and integration efforts. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. DRS Naval Power Systems, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the Navy’s requirements for post-production warranty and related ancillary support as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole integrator of the AMDR PCM.
