The scope of the requirements will include but are not limited to updating and maintaining the current software baselines, developing software updates which increase future capabilities or integrate future payloads, and supporting the transition of software activities to an organic (Navy) Software Sustainment Activity (SSA). As the original designer, developer and manager of the MCM USV software, only Textron Systems has the requisite knowledge and expertise to design, develop, test, manage, and upgrade the highly specialized MCM USV software.
