The proposed contract modification increases the ceiling on Option Year (OY) 3, OY 4 Level of Effort (LOE) Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Cost-only line items. The proposed contract action is for Design Agent Engineering, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). LM is the only vendor qualified and capable of meeting the Navy’s OY3 and OY4 schedule requirements to provide continued, uninterrupted Design Agent Engineering for SEWIP Block 2 EW subsystems.
