GDEB is the only known source capable of accomplishing the requirements. The procurement of nuclear related maintenance, modernization, and repair support is appropriate because the nature of the requirements necessitate a nuclear-qualified shipyard with staff within close proximity of SUBASE, NLON. This contract action is not fixed price. The contract includes CPFF LOE line items for labor efforts and CPFF for other direct costs.
