## Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-242 Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program, Patuxent River, MD, awarded a firm fixed price contract modification to MSI Defense Solutions, LLC (MSI), 136 Knobb Hill Road, Mooresville, NC 28117, for Electronic Advanced Ground Launcher (EAGLS) Counter- Uncrewed Aerial System (C-UAS) testing, initial spares, support equipment, engineering and technical support, maintenance support, and Field Service Representative (FSR) system support which-includes tasking for maintenance, training, technical consultation/advising, development/update of technical manuals and associated support.

This contract modification was awarded to MSI in the amount of $1,218,450.13. This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements."

MSI is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the EAGLS C-UAS and therefore is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data of the EAGLS C-UAS design, operation, and maintenance to successfully meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis and in a cost effective manner. Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from MSI. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
