## Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Office, PMA-213, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc. (hereinafter “BAE Systems”) Greenlawn, New York.

This contract will procure supplies and services associated with FY2027-FY2031 production of RT-2159/APX and related equipment for the United States Navy, Army, Coast Guard, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), or other service/agency. The anticipated ordering period for the contract is five years, from Q4 FY2027 through Q3 FY2031 with an estimated value of $50-90M. The place of performance is anticipated to be at BAE Systems’ facility in Greenlawn, New York.

BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the RT-2159/APX Systems. As such, they are the only company that has the requisite knowledge and technical data necessary to meet this requirement. The Government does not possess a complete technical data package for these systems. The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. This pre-solicitation notice is published for informational purposes only. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority at 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302?1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
