Work will be performed in Tukwila, Washington, and is expected to be completed in August 2031. No funds will be obligated at the time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. Award to a source other than Boeing would result in an unacceptable delay of 3-5 years due to the Government’s inability to provide technical data to another source to design, manufacture and mate EBUs to CFM56-7B engine to enable their attachment to and integrations with the P-8A and C-40A aircraft.
