## Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, awarded a sole source production contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), San Diego, CA, for the production and support of MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) and related assets associated with Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lots 5, 6, and 7. This modification procures the tasks and effort required of Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) to provide test planning and execution required to support the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Earth Station (BES) Satellite Operations (SATOPS) Certification for the Triton MQ-4C Unmanned Aircraft (UA).

NGSC will provide engineering oversight throughout all test phases as well as contractual, management, and administrative direction.

This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” As the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MQ-4C Triton UAS, NGSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, engineering expertise, and technical data required to meet the Government’s requirements within the program’s cost and schedule constraints.

**Note:** THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation – Aerospace Systems attention: Vicky Harper-Hall, Socio-Economic Programs Sector Manager, email: vicky.harper-hall@ngc.com or phone (310) 331-3824. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government.
