The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) , Patuxent River, Maryland, Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), intends to negotiate and issue a sole source Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001925G0009 to Raytheon Company (RTX), Tucson, AZ for engineering and technical support to investigate, analyze, study and resolve technical issues to repair twelve (12) Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) C-1 Aerial Improvement Program (AIP) All-Up-Rounds (AURs). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. However, responsible, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. GENERAL INFORMATION: RTX is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer for the JSOW and as such is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, production tooling, facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement.
