## Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, awarded a firm-fixed-price Purchase Order (PO) modification for additional operational training of the High Power Transmit Set-Modernization (HPTS-M) on the E-6B aircraft under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in FAR Part 13, specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which permits contracting without soliciting competitive quotations or offers when the contracting officer determines that only one source is reasonably available to meet the Government’s requirements.
