Tasking includes, but is not limited to, electromagnetic technical management, support for HERO test planning, and HERO preparation, support, and reporting. The period of performance anticipated for this effort will be 12 months. The anticipated date of award is March 2025 and contract performance is anticipated to begin in July 2025. Raytheon is the sole manufacturer of the Tomahawk Missile System. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Raytheon in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, \"Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.\" Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the Tomahawk Cruise Missile and is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort within the required schedule. In addition, Raytheon is the only source that possesses the totality of engineering and technical data required to perform these efforts. NOTE: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Navy. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
