Tasking includes disposition, packaging, and shipment to identified storage locations and facilities for all Government-Furnished Property (GFP), Support Equipment (SE), Special Tooling (ST), Special Test Equipment (STE), and any associated Right-to-Title production parts or material currently in custody of NGAS and their suppliers. The period of performance is anticipated to be 24 months. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 336411. The procurement is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (C)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” As the contractor for half of the FA-18E/F Aircraft, NGAS has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. Additionally, NGAS and its suppliers currently have physical custody of approximately 8,000 items of GFP. Only NGAS has the accessibility to and records accounting for this GFP. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Responsible sources may submit a Statement of Capability and Qualifications to the Contract Specialist listed demonstrating their ability to perform the Government's requirement and shall provide proof of approved facility and personnel clearances necessary to meet the delivery schedule required within 15 days from the publication date of this announcement.
