The total estimated quantity for Fiber Optic Feedthrough Connector Assemblies is 12 (twelve). The period of performance is estimated to be twelve 12 months, with anticipated award date of March 2025. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, \"Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Fiber Systems International is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge, engineering expertise, tooling and the technical data required to develop and produce the fiber optic connectors with the ceramic termini.
