## Description

The Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River intends to award a sole source contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronics Systems Integration, (hereinafter referred to as “BAE Systems”), Nashua, New Hampshire. This contract will procure the FY2026-FY2027 OE-120/UPX Antenna Group Systems, retrofit kits, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Kits, and potential Size Weight and Power efforts in support of Littoral Combat Ship, Independence class.

The total estimated quantity of OE-120/UPX Antenna Group Systems, retrofit kits, and INCO kits being procured is 47. BAE Systems is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the OE-120/UPX Antenna Group systems. BAE Systems is the only known source that has the unique knowledge, experience and special skills required to provide these supplies and services. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C.

3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
