The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Airborne Strategic Command, Control, and Communications Program Office (PMA-271), intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of services and supplies in support of the upgrade of existing E-6B Aircrew Cockpit Seats, to include but not limited to the pilot, co-pilot, flight engineer and navigator seats via total small business set-aside competition. This effort will include the upgrade of flight deck seats for 16 aircraft and is anticipated to be performed from Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 through 2029, completing up to six (6) aircraft per year. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The draft solicitation is anticipated to be available for comment on or around 4th quarter FY 2024. The final solicitation, N0001924R0051, and all attachments necessary to prepare a proposal are anticipated to be available on SAM.gov on or about 4th quarter FY 2024, with a tentative closing date of 1st quarter FY 2025. It is the responsibility of the potential vendors to monitor SAM.gov for any information that may pertain to a future solicitation. The final solicitation, N0001924R0051, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at federal Contract Opportunities website, https://sam.gov and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module website, https://piee.eb.mil/.
