This procurement is for an anticipated base of eighteen (18) Radar Production Kits and related support with the inclusion of two (2) option years for a maximum of fifteen (15) additional ship sets per each option year. These requirements will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, \"Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.\" The Raytheon Company is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the P-8A Poseidon APY-10 Radar System, and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government requirements on a timely basis.
