The anticipated modification provides for additional Harpoon Block II+ Tactical Missile Upgrade Kits for the United States Navy (USN). Contract award is anticipated third quarter of FY24. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon Weapon System and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the technical data, experience, requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills and facilities required to provide the supplies and services anticipated under these orders. The Boeing Company is the sole owner of technical data for Harpoon and therefore is the only responsible source that can meet the Government's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
